The Ellsworth Free Medical Clinic (EFMC) receives no Federal funding. We exist because of the generosity of individual donors, foundations and grants. We established a re endowment fund to ensure the clinic’s sustainability and continued operation.

Through shared values and commitment to our mission, the EFMC Endowment has grown steadily since its launch in August, 2018. We have partnered with the Maine Community Foundation in this endeavor.

This year our Annual Appeal reaches deep into the heart of our business community.  We are requesting their support of our vital and much needed healthcare services to the uninsured and inadequately insured. 

We invite you to be a steward of the Clinic.  Contributions to operational expenses (the Clinic’s immediate needs) or to the Endowment (sustainability) managed by the Maine Community Foundation may be mailed to the Clinic or made on our website.
